On the dog ward, the team are doing the rounds
and checking up on Alfie. Magic came and told me about it. So, it's a CFX hip. Overnight, he's been fine with
eating and been really bright, but we're just going to take him
for a walk and see how he's doing on the leg, post-surgery. They need to get him back
on his feet as soon as possible after his hip replacement. The patient should be weight-bearing on the leg - even if gingerly - immediately after surgery. I think we can take him back in.
Yeah. We can safely say at this stage
that this dog's recovering well. He'll stay in today for monitoring
and further pain relief and then we'll go from there. ALFIE WHIMPERS
