all around her, it was a horrific scene. [narrator] Among the responding
officers called to the scene is investigator James Knox from the Pleasanton
Police Department. [James Knox]
They brought us out and we actually did
what they call a grid search where you go back and forth looking to find
the murder weapon. But we're never able to locate what the victim
was stabbed with. In processing the crime scene,
detectives collected a purse that was found in the tree
directly above the body
