I had gone into the ward and I'd looked around
and I couldn't see him. There was one bed to the right,
where there was curtains around it, and there was a lot of sort of
real activity behind it. I didn't know what that was about. And I had some ice lollies
and some Lucozade that Terry had asked me
to bring along. So I went up to a nurse. She sort of looked at me like that. "Why don't you sort of wait outside
in this room just off the ward?" A little later, they came in
and, er... ..told me he'd died. Excuse me. And they'd been trying to
resuscitate him when I'd walked into the ward
and I couldn't see him. There was one bed to the right,
