Judith, I'm writing to thank you. And tell you I'm well. I felt grief and immense anger in the months prior to the meeting. Hatred, too. And I shut that book. I had to stop
lumping him and the others together. Him and men. I met a wolf. It was my brother. And it didn't kill me. And it won't take my life now. At the end, when I look back, I want to be able to say
it happened and it was horrific but less serious
than the death one day of my father or the cancer of a friend I may lose. I'm happy I managed to hate him. I'm starting to feel ready to love
