were growing in that period. This is Megiddo. A critical junction of trading
routes in the Bronze Age. And in 1200 B.C., this whole area known as Canaan, was part of the Egyptian empire. Remarkably, it seems
that the Egyptians were introducing new
farming methods here to cope with the drought. When Israel examined the
cattle bones discovered on site, he observed that not
only was there an increase in the number of
cows in this period, but that they were reaching
