Last Monday, September 3rd while on armed reconnaissance,
I was hit by enemy anti-aircraft fire. I was diving on a target at the time
and narrowly averted hitting the ground but hit some electric lines shaving off about five feet
of starboard wing. I was able to nurse the aircraft back across
to friendly territory, where I bailed out
