last night." She's like, "I heard
a demo of your band. I think it's really great,
maybe we could work together." I was just like,
"This really is not funny." So I walk into
the living room. We have this
Glorious Misspent Youth poster. I said, "Okay, if you're
really Joan Jett, tell me
what your hair looks like." And she goes, "It's like
a bastardized, disheveled bob." And I was like, "Oh, shit,
you are Joan Jett!" (LAUGHS) JOAN: I got such a kick
out of watching them fight their fight because
their fight was my fight. I'm not willing to deal
with the mainstream anymore when they're constantly asking
me questions about sexual abuse, about if I've been a stripper,
