On The Blues Brothers, John was different,
and it was hard. But you know that whole
thing about America's guest? Well, it's true. He could be abrupt
and unpleasant, but most of the time
he was totally charming, and people adored him. Having said all this... And I don't want to make
it sound worse than it was, because I don't think we
lost four or five days shooting at the most because
of drugs, which is a lot... But there's a couple
of times on the movie when I was really
worried about his health. And you can see it, you know? There's some scenes
where he's there and some scenes where he's not. It's 106 miles to Chicago
and it was hard. But you know that whole
