Things are not looking good. The sluice box
wasn't tied down. It could come off
and smash the side
of the boat. More importantly,
we're nowhere near Yukon John. He's seven miles away. Almost 10 miles off shore. That far from land
in weather like this, is about as precarious
as it gets for miners. So we've got to cut
south now and see if we can rendezvous
with them out there, which is not
