November 8th. The flat is now
halfway cosy and nice, the beginning
of an existence in the making. But my great anxiety about my
husband and children remains my all-encompassing concern. I've left no stone unturned
to try and find the children, but have remained unsuccessful. I don't know how I am to bear
the certainty of their death, should this come about. And the only person who ever
understood me, he, too, will not return
