Look at that thing. I'm working on these gears,
or like a stack of gears. I left engineering school
to, uh, go be an artist. {\an8}Uh, I hated engineering.
It was... it was boring. So this piece is kind of about melody
in my, like, left brain and right brain. Choosing art over engineering was, um... It was a decision. Parents weren't
super thrilled with it right off the bat. I made it a little too thick,
which is, uh... kind of a problem. Ready? -[clacks]
-Boop! [exciting string music playing] [Brenna] Okay, so I'm going to add water
to the wall of the glass, which is about 1,500 degrees right now,
and that'll shock the surface. Never done this before. [sizzling]
