Going into this, I thought I had some understanding of the migration crisis coming from a political background, from a journalism background having read the material, looked at the studies, spent a lot of time talking about it I really thought I had a better understanding of this issue than most people, and I think there is a cultural pressure for people in general to pretend they understand these giant crises we're dealing with and to offer solutions to them, even when we don't have them, and I can tell you right now being on the ground for four months meeting these people, being in the middle of these shipments, these NGO operations, the camps
