that Judy had that piece of paper
with her when she died. [Narrator] With nothing to go on
from the crime scene, detectives begin
taking a closer look at the people in Judy's life. Their first stop
is her husband Jim, who was supposed to be
with Judy the day she disappeared
but stayed home. [Det. Scott]
Our detectives confronted Jim about where he was that day. He had told us
that he had stayed home because of a, uh,
water heater leak, and we were able to confirm
with-- with the company that he had called them
and asked them to come out and they repaired the--
a leak in the water heater, and that he didn't leave
the Incline Village area until about 3:00 or so, maybe a little later
in the afternoon
