was checking the newspapers, sending out applications. She saw the stacks of papers
under my bed. Yet she still asked the question. She told me every time
she go down to the Piggly Wiggly with Jeremiah, the manager come over
and talk to ‘em. She even told me to take
Jeremiah down there with me next time so I
can get a interview. She said having a child with me
might add a little sympathy
