It's June, nearly summer, and more Covid-19 restrictions on
travel and hospitality are lifting. Good news for Robert and Tiffany
in Carnlough, whose business relies on the tourist trade. We're starting to see it pick up. We opened the coffee shop for
takeaways about four weekends ago, and we said Saturday and Sundays
only, and in that time, we have seen, actually,
a lot of footfall in the village, I think, as restrictions
have loosened up, we've seen people starting to take,
you know, their day trip out to the coast. Bye. All the best. We're extending our hours this week to include Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday but I need to plan orders
so I'm taking averages from before we closed. OK. Go ahead. Just trying to come up with
some sort of predicted amount so that I can get orders out
to our bakers although it's so challenging to predict
what customers will be after

It's June,
00:00:02.048 --> 00:00:04.028
nearly summer,
00:00:04.028 --> 00:00:09.068
and more Covid-19 restrictions on
travel and hospitality are lifting.
00:00:09.068 --> 00:00:12.096
Good news for Robert and Tiffany
in Carnlough, whose business
00:00:12.096 --> 00:00:15.008
relies on the tourist trade.
00:00:15.008 --> 00:00:16.008
We're starting to see it pick up.
00:00:16.008 --> 00:00:19.092
We opened the coffee shop for
takeaways about four weekends ago,
00:00:19.092 --> 00:00:22.096
and we said Saturday and Sundays
only, and in that time,
00:00:22.096 --> 00:00:26.000
we have seen, actually,
a lot of footfall in the village,
00:00:26.000 --> 00:00:28.002
I think, as restrictions
have loosened up,
00:00:28.002 --> 00:00:30.016
we've seen people starting to take,
you know,
00:00:30.016 --> 00:00:31.064
their day trip out to the coast.
00:00:31.064 --> 00:00:33.028
Bye. All the best.
00:00:33.028 --> 00:00:34.088
We're extending our hours this week
00:00:34.088 --> 00:00:37.048
to include Wednesday,
Thursday and Friday
00:00:37.048 --> 00:00:40.999
but I need to plan orders
so I'm taking averages
00:00:40.999 --> 00:00:41.068
from before we closed.
00:00:41.068 --> 00:00:42.092
OK. Go ahead.
00:00:42.092 --> 00:00:45.072
Just trying to come up with
some sort of predicted amount
00:00:45.072 --> 00:00:48.052
so that I can get orders out
to our bakers although it's so
00:00:48.052 --> 00:00:51.084
challenging to predict
what customers will be after.
