The Glens - nine glacial valleys moulded in the Ice Age, cutting their way through
the Antrim mountains towards the Irish Sea. Situated in the north-east
of Northern Ireland, they were once part of
the ancient kingdom of Dalriada, that included parts of Scotland, often visible just across the water. The kingdom is no more, but many of its myths
and traditions survive. Told across four seasons, this is
the story of moors and farmland, forests and rivers. Of a proud people, fighting
to preserve their way of life
