Anchovy fever. Once that
A-word is mentioned, "There's been a few anchovies
up Plymouth or Brixham..." Or something like that. Everyone's
on the edge of their seat, then. Anchovies have been spotted
60 miles east, off Plymouth. They're a highly lucrative catch. It's a chance for James
to turn his season around. We've been fishing all these bays
here, which we're going to leave today and steam out round
Lizard Point here... And then up towards
Plymouth and the Fowey area. Anchovies would be nice,
a bit more expensive. Top our season up a bit,
which we could do with. But if there's pilchards there,
we'll have pilchards. We're not really catching anything
here, so be glad of anything up that
way
