You go out on a poor day
where everyone else is saying, "I don't think I'm going to go,
it's not very good." If you come in with a boat full of
fish, you know, you look great. "Ah, brilliant, look at him,
What a hero." But that is right
on a very fine line. If it went the other way, you know, it's game over, isn't it? You look a complete fool and you
quite likely lost your boat, if not your life. The battle with small boats is
having the fine weather to get out so you can spend your time at sea. Anything more than six foot, really,
you're struggling to launch down here off the beach. The days of thinking
you're invincible are over, as soon as you have a kid... I'm sure Nick would agree. Your priorities change
and, you know, the consequences... ..completely change. It's never worth it, not for a box of pollock or
a few lobsters, with what you've got at home
