Initial reports speculated that it might have been a mafia hit, possibly related
to Jose Menendez's business dealings in the home video industry,
as an executive for Live Entertainment. But detective Les Zoeller
with the Beverly Hills Police Department recently told reporters they're still
pursuing all potential angles. I can't give too many details, but I can say that this is still
very much an active investigation, and that our guys will not rest until whoever committed
these senseless and heinous killings is behind bars
and facing the death penalty
