there's any underestimating the value of vulnerability
in artistry. You have to be able to touch
everything emotionally. You've got to be able
to go to the dark places as well as to the happy places. He had access
to a level of stress, and he had to cope
with that stress. What do you do? You either
fall apart or you use it, and I think he'd learned
to use it at a very early age. His strengths
