When Afeni came out on bail, she believed in freeing
her comrades, but it wasn't like
she was jubilant. [Mike Wallace] New York's Harlem
is the biggest Black ghetto in the country, but the Panther chapter here
is so weak that it's an embarrassment
to the party. The Panthers have been,
essentially, leaderless here. There were day-to-day struggles
to keep a Panther office open
