But the climate is changing,
and I can't ignore that fact. It affects my choices every single day. And while small efforts are being made
to slow the effects, large-scale weather disasters
like hurricanes, floods, and fires are becoming the new norm. And, sooner or later,
we'll all be affected. San Juan can serve as a model
for the rest of the world in that we need to start rethinking
how we consume everything, from our food to our power. Striving for sustainability
is easier said than done, and I know I have a long way to go. But I feel grateful for the small lessons that I've learned
on this beautiful island
