In the sitting room, we want
to knock down some walls, so it's more open
to the rest of the house. And then we'll give
the fireplace
a totally new look. Refinish the floors
with a less orangey stain and then add new furniture,
new lighting. In the great room,
we're going to paint
all that woodwork, which is going to brighten it
all up and then we're going
to knock out the fireplace, so that it becomes
double sided. In the kitchen we're going
to knock down as many walls as we can. Update the cabinets
and add some
open shelving. Bring in a big ol'
farmhouse sink and I'm thinking one of
the focal points of this house will be a waterfall island
with some kind of
luxurious pattern. And then we need to figure out
some way to fit in a pantry
