to complete. It's distinct for its bright colors
and large images of myths and monsters drawn with exaggerated features and surrounded by natural elements
like clouds and waves. The Japanese government had outlawed
tattooing in the 19th century, so Irezumi initially spread to people who wanted to identify themselves
