It seems that after the arrest, some individuals may have
viewed Lamont with suspicion. I don't believe he was
in jail for very long when he had been
arrested for that, and, certainly, some of the
rumors that circulate is that if you're out quickly, that you must be
working with the police, and I guess the phrase
everybody uses is, "The streets are talking." And so some of the original
rumors that went around were the potential suspects who'd be people who
weren't happy about that
