waited to hear from Willard, Richland County sheriff's
officers responded to the 911 call from
the Kangaroo Express. I'm J. Stan Smith, deputy chief of the Richland
County Sheriff's Department Criminal Investigative Division. The individuals were
obviously in a state of shock, what they had seen when
they'd arrived at the store, but they immediately called 911, and we had EMS
summoned to the scene to look for signs of life... But the individual
had passed away. Crime scene investigators
became involved at that point
