The reports that
they were getting was that a car drove
by and was firing. So they had casings
all along the road that they had to make sure
that they got them all. It was somewhere in the neighborhood of 12
fired cartridge casings, which really indicates to
us that the gun was fired probably to the point
of where it was empty. It was apparent based on the
location of the gunshot wounds that some of those are what's
called defensive wounds, where he was moving and
trying to avoid being shot at, which would give
you an indication the person was walking up on him as he was firing as well
