Since the time
of Jules Verne, man has imagined
traveling to the Moon. The old idea
of how to get to the Moon was to send one spacecraft
all the way there and back. However, NASA engineers have
developed a modern approach. Where one rocket contains several ships
that will make the journey together. Just as Columbus
took a rowboat from the Santa María
to the shore of the New World. The astronauts will
take a smaller spacecraft from the mothership
down to the lunar surface. When it's time to return,
the smaller craft will lift off from the surface and dock with the mothership, which
will then power the crew back to Earth. Thus, thanks to the brilliant
minds of NASA, the age-old dream
of going to the Moon will soon be achieved

Since the time
of Jules Verne,
00:00:03.001 --> 00:00:06.002
man has imagined
traveling to the Moon.
00:00:06.003 --> 00:00:08.003
The old idea
of how to get to the Moon
00:00:08.004 --> 00:00:11.006
was to send one spacecraft
all the way there and back.
00:00:11.009 --> 00:00:15.003
However, NASA engineers have
developed a modern approach.
00:00:15.004 --> 00:00:20.401
Where one rocket contains several ships
that will make the journey together.
00:00:20.501 --> 00:00:22.301
Just as Columbus
took a rowboat
00:00:22.401 --> 00:00:25.201
from the Santa María
to the shore of the New World.
00:00:25.501 --> 00:00:28.012
The astronauts will
take a smaller spacecraft
00:00:28.101 --> 00:00:31.201
from the mothership
down to the lunar surface.
00:00:31.301 --> 00:00:33.901
When it's time to return,
the smaller craft
00:00:34.767 --> 00:00:35.601
will lift off from the surface
00:00:35.901 --> 00:00:40.767
and dock with the mothership, which
will then power the crew back to Earth.
00:00:40.101 --> 00:00:42.801
Thus, thanks to the brilliant
minds of NASA,
00:00:42.901 --> 00:00:45.301
the age-old dream
of going to the Moon
00:00:45.401 --> 00:00:47.301
will soon be achieved.
