Mr Potts: For what it's worth, here's what I know. We, and by we I mean humans, for some reason we find it hard to let go of the past. I'm not saying there's no place for memories. What I'm saying is you can't live today in the past because then your future will look just the same as it did yesterday. You can't live in the future either because then today will pass you by. The only way to be truly happy is to connect with the present, connect with the moment

Movie Summary
Some years after their son is killed in an accident, a married couple decide to adopt a child. One day a 7-year-old boy, Eli, unexpectedly arrives on their doorstep claiming to be from the adoption agency. Eli wears a suit every day and is very well-spoken for a child. He helps the adults to process their loss, which had stifled both their marriage and their toy business, and lets them embrace life again.
