make people think?" "I say, "No, no. That would be
the kiss of death. What I want to do is
to let them know I'm thinking." You have to be
somewhat of an egotist to stand up
all your life and say, "Listen to me.
Please pay attention." And that's fine. I can
live with that about myself. But if I'm going to
call attention to myself, I want to show them something a little different
from time to time. I want to find a voice
that isn't like all the others. So I like to find out
where their line may be and deliberately cross it, and then make them glad
they came. Iraq, Panama, Grenada, Libya, you got some Brown people
in your country
