So, here's what I see
for this kitchen. - [Scott] Okay.
- This wall is gonna go away. And this is gonna become
a beautiful, nice big island. With a new quartz countertop. With seating and a coat top
and posts on either side. I want to redo all the flooring
in this part of the house. Over here, I want to do open
shelving all along this wall. We'll do cabinetry
all along the wall as well. For the perimeter cabinets, I'm going to install
butcher block countertop, with a brand-new backsplash. The sink will stay where it is, 'cause I like it
with the window right there. And then this little wall here, This has gotta go,
it doesn't make any sense. With that, I can extend this kitchen
all the way out under the windows So that they have
a really nice place where they can just like sit
and hang out. But her dishwasher
and her refrigerator aren't in that bad a shape, So my plan is to paint them. And on this wall, I'm gonna
build Maddie her own at-home bar. Because she wants to be able
to host her own clients here And she can hold her tastings
right here in this room. The biggest thing
