By now, a week into my journey,
today would see Lesley and I walk an easy six miles
from Crianlarich to Tyndrum. Lesley and I headed out of town
refreshed and geared up to go. I remember stopping at this point
on the West Highland Way when I was 16
and sitting on this wall. St Fillan's Priory. Robert the Bruce endowed
the Priory in 1317. Come on, cock-a-doodle-do. COCKEREL CROWS THEY LAUGH With only the six miles today,
we were able to tackle the path at a leisurely pace and relish
the sights along the way. Whether you're driving
or walking north, Crianlarich feels like a gateway
into a different Scotland, like the Highlands
are properly welcoming you, inviting you to explore
all its nooks and crannies
