Having completed the 96 miles from
Glasgow to Fort William in 12 days, it would seem churlish not to
add a 13th day. Unlucky for some
but hopefully not today since I would be taking on
a 10.5 mile round trip by tackling the 1,352 metre ascent
to the top of Ben Nevis. For the climb, I would be joined
by my pal, Jonathan, and also my brother-in-law, Bruno,
who was over visiting from Spain. Ben Nevis was to be Bruno's first
Scottish hill. And what a place to start!
