My arrival at Inversnaid was
signalled by the splashing of the splendid waterfall there. I was grateful to clock off after a
long day. I didn't sleep as well as I might've
hoped that night in the camping grounds. Maybe next time I would let
the budget stretch to the glamour of a bunk bed. But on the upside,
I escaped unscathed by the midges. At 13 miles, today's walk from
Inversnaid to Crianlarich would be my longest walk
since day one. I was feeling relatively upbeat
and ready to go
