I think more and more people become
aware of the consequences of the CAA and NRC, you know, and that is why I feel
that this protest became a movement. I'm puzzled as to why there should
have been a significant Muslim protest
in places like Delhi. They were very much Muslims
who'd been settled in Delhi for a long, long time. They were not threatened in any way. And in my view, this was not
a protest about citizenship. This was a protest about Muslims
feeling that they had lost
their foothold in the political system
over the past... ..seven, eight years
