I was inspired
because I think as an industry, it's a problem that has been acknowledged but nobody has been able to figure out
what to do about it. It's hard to make a big systemic change,
but I feel like at Pixar, there has never been conscious resistance
to wanting to do this. I think what I did is just show people something they already knew
they wanted to do and they just didn't know
how to look at the problem. (TIRES SCREECH) When I watch Cars 3 now,
I'm proud of the journey that it took
