Now, my experience and
introduction of meditation was through Buddhism, and mindfulness grew out
of the Buddhist philosophy, that practice, and what I became to realize, the more my practice
matured was the meditation, I practiced was mindfulness meditation, which was simply sitting in stillness and allowing generally my
breath to be an anchor, allowing my attention to
gently fall on my breath, and then just being aware of what arose during the experience
of sitting in meditation without judgment
