The Patriots were so convinced that a guy they waited
until the fourth round to draft because of concerns about his character... reward him with a $40 million contract just one month
after the double homicide in Boston. The Patriots are not going
to give somebody $40 million if they have a concern about them. There certainly was some connection
between owner and player that isn't always common in the NFL. Still kinda surreal, but take it in
over the next few days, months, years and just... It's a blessing and hopefully
