Um, so, in 2009, I was working for a startup. I was thinking
as a remote worker, I would try
something adventurous, find somewhere
interesting to live. The cryptography behind Bitcoin is what makes it secure. It's the "crypto"
in cryptocurrency. And cryptographers,
they're like the math wizards who are skilled
at making digital locks. And to create Bitcoin, Satoshi referenced ideas
from a few of them. In particular, something
that Adam Back had invented, called Hashcash. And he dreamed this up 12 years
before the creation of Bitcoin. Were you the first person
