it should be dead on now, hopefully. The calf's treatment cost £300, quite a chunk of the thousand
she'll eventually sell for, but she'll now grow
without the risk of injury. Farming is a business, but it's a business
that farmers have a passion for, and part of that passion
is a passion for the animals that are in your care. We will see this calf
right through its whole life cycle, until it goes for beef. Cattle are our lifeblood. They supply the profitability
for the farm, and for the family, and whatever animals
are in our care, we look after them to the very best
of our ability during that time
