Iain and Shirley's cow, just to redress it
and see how it's getting on. The Smiths' five-legged calf
tore a few stitches, and the wound became infected... Oh, I don't get out that often,
I'm very rarely out nowadays. ..so Martin's heading over
to the farm to examine her. I used to be out all the time, but a few years ago,
I had a couple of heart attacks, and, after that, the physical stuff,
I'm not doing, because it IS tough, it's long hours you're working,
and some extreme conditions. So basically now
I do a lot of surgery. I miss the banter, you know,
you went in for a cup of tea, maybe your lunch,
and Shirley and Iain, I've known them
for probably 30 years, and, er, it's, you know,
they're like friends
