My theories: someone in the family is allergic (even the child herself), she’s not taking care of the kitten, she’s behaving badly at home, she got bad grades, they suddenly need to move to a different city, they’re moving houses in the same city but it does not allow cats, what do you think? Oh and the mom probably told her daughter that they were taking Fluffy to the vet.

Why do you think the mom would get rid of a kitten just like that? How do you think she got her daughter to go with her with the kitten?
