not to see him every day. Like most places,
Gates Falls High had school functions. And the one at the end of
the first semester was the winter dance. One of those Sadie Hawkins kind of deals
where the girls ask the boys. I had a gut feeling
Margie was gonna ask me, but I didn't like her,
you know, like that. So I was hoping to get another invite
