knows that the two rivers
flowing round this site have long dictated

from even pre-rev war era that had several iterations
as a mill. It would have been
a flour mill, sawmill, and it was purchased
specifically for the purposes
of this facility. [narrator] In the late
19th century, infrastructure
burgeoned across America. And this site became
a valuable resource. [Jim] Hackensack, New Jersey
is pretty close

after the Civil War, the population here
