My dear wife, Jo, and I
were treated traditionally. We both have narrow faces
and crowded teeth. I really wanted to bring my children up
without traditional orthodontic methods. And so I thought I'd design
an appliance to do that. I don't know if you've done much,
what they say, "DIY," do it yourself, but it's very convenient to be able to experiment on your children. Most people do it socially,
but I also did it medically
