It was like they'd set up a utopia. Almost felt like in every
flowerbed - which didn't look real - there was a camera
or there was a microphone. And in the distance,
you could see people looking over their shoulder,
dressed all in black. Everyone was looking over
at you going, "What are they doing?" And you felt you were
being watched and monitored. It was the strangest place to be in. Amazing, though, at the same time. I'm honestly relieved to be
getting back on the road now, heading south towards Braunschweig. And while the badge
on my next vehicle says VW, its spirit is a million miles
from the town I'm leaving behind

It was like they'd set up a utopia.
00:00:03.092 --> 00:00:07.006
Almost felt like in every
flowerbed - which didn't look real -
00:00:07.006 --> 00:00:10.004
there was a camera
or there was a microphone.
00:00:11.092 --> 00:00:13.072
And in the distance,
you could see people
00:00:13.072 --> 00:00:16.999
looking over their shoulder,
dressed all in black.
00:00:16.999 --> 00:00:17.092
Everyone was looking over
at you going,
00:00:17.092 --> 00:00:19.998
"What are they doing?"
00:00:19.998 --> 00:00:21.096
And you felt you were
being watched and monitored.
00:00:21.096 --> 00:00:24.998
It was the strangest place to be in.
00:00:24.998 --> 00:00:26.999
Amazing, though, at the same time.
00:00:28.000 --> 00:00:31.002
I'm honestly relieved to be
getting back on the road now,
00:00:31.002 --> 00:00:33.088
heading south towards Braunschweig.
00:00:33.088 --> 00:00:37.998
And while the badge
on my next vehicle says VW,
00:00:37.998 --> 00:00:40.076
its spirit is a million miles
from the town I'm leaving behind.
