We surmised early on that the ET
had a technopathic link to his vessel. There was no throttle
or steering mechanism that we could identify, and when we dissected
the propulsion system, we were unable to identify
an energy source. You see, the creature's mind
didn'tjust control the craft, it powered it. It was hardwired into the vessel. Somehow his species
had discovered a way to convert thought into a viable form
