of your Conservative backbench MPs "who voted against you on Syria." And so David Cameron sort of,
in some sense, took the bait and wanted some way to hit back
at Putin. So he changed the subject to LGBT rights and said, "Well, there is something
I need you to know, Vladimir." I pitched it as, "Look, this is
going to be an issue for you, "Mr President, because you're
chairing these Olympics, and you're "going to have a lot of people
very concerned about the "approach that Russia takes."
And he took this very badly
