Cigars. Cigarettes. Roger:
Oh, I'll have some Camels. Sally:
Hello, Mr. Daley. Roger:
Where have you been? You don't return my calls. I can never get ahold of you. Sally:
I told you it was over. Roger:
Please don't say that! Sally:
You call me all hours. I mean, I meet you in hotel rooms, in the back of cars, in stalled elevators, you're gonna lose your respect for me!

Movie Summary
The Narrator tells us how the radio influenced his childhood in the days before TV. In the New York City of the late 1930s to the New Year's Eve 1944, this coming-of-age tale mixes the narrator's experiences with contemporary anecdotes and urban legends of the radio stars.
