When we first arrived
at Camusfearna... the eels were migrating
into the burn... and there was no problem
about food for Mij. I simply opened the door
in the morning... and he soon caught
his own breakfast. But as the summer wore on... the eels stopped coming
into the burn... and then one day,
they were gone. The run was over.
They had come in from the sea... and now they had returned
to the sea. There would be no more eels
until the following spring
at Camusfearna... the eels were migrating
